The last night of camp before attempting summit.

We arrived at Barafu Camp tonight … the last night of camp before attempting summit.

Our climb today was short. Four hours. All uphill.

Tomorrow after reaching summit, we will overnight on top at Crater camp. Temperatures there are 20 to -10 degrees.

We can see glaciers that we’ll pass on top along with Stella Point, the gateway to the top!

We continue to think of our families, friends and the kids of St. Jude. Thank you to all who have supported our climb on their behalf.

Hey baby dog- you are still that to me. You have made choices in your life I could never dream of. I don’t have your courage. Cannot imagine what reaching the summit will feel like. But I knew this is what you guys would do. Many prayers being lifted up for both of you by my friends and church family, Do you sing Climb Every Mountain while you are doing this? or The bear went over the mountain? or How Great Thou Art? I love you forever and without condition. Mom
